Welcome to Lariboisière Neurosurgery Department in Paris
Headed by Professor Sébastien Froelich, the neurosurgery department comprises 14 neurosurgeons, 2 neurologists and 9 interns in training. It provides comprehensive care for pathologies of the brain, nerves, meninges, pituitary gland, skull base and spine in adults. In 2024, the department was equipped with ZAP-X radiosurgery technology, which enables many brain lesions to be treated with exceptional precision. This innovation is part of a close partnership with the radiotherapy team at Saint-Louis Hospital and the Hartmann Institute for Radiotherapy and Radiosurgery, reinforcing the department’s position as a center of excellence in neurosurgery and therapeutic innovation.
Our team is strongly committed to clinical and basic research, and actively contributes to teaching neurosurgery at all stages of medical training, within the Université Paris Cité as well as through the organization of numerous national and international courses.
The department also coordinates the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (ANR) NeuroDM clinical investigation network, dedicated to the development of innovative neurosurgical devices, in close collaboration with the neurosurgery departments atHôpital Beaujon andHôpital de la Fondation Adolphe de Rothschild.

Neurosurgery outpatient consultations
Neurosurgery outpatient clinics are located in the yellow sector, door 10, ground floor.
Consultations are held every day from Monday to Friday.
Appointments can be made by telephone on 01 49 95 81 69 or online. If the line is busy, you can contact the doctors' secretariats directly.
