A hospital secretary will ensure that the necessary formalities for your hospitalization are up to date.  You will give him the documents relating to your admission.<\/p>\n\n<p>She will review your record and ask you to complete and sign the following:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"traitements-list\">\n  <li>Form for appointing a trusted support person<\/li>\n  <li>Care consent form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>She will then direct you to the hospitalization floor corresponding to your room, where you will be taken care of by the nurse.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"section-block\">\n<h3>Documents and Personal Items to Bring<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"traitements-list\">\n  <li>All your personal medications in their original packaging<\/li>\n  <li>Your usual treatment prescription, less than three months old<\/li>\n  <li>Your toiletry bag and linen (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, towels, washcloths, etc.)<\/li>\n  <li>Your nightgowns or pajamas, a dressing gown or a warm sweater for moving around the corridors<\/li>\n  <li>Slippers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>We advise against keeping valuables with you (means of payment, jewelry, money). You are invited to deposit them in the <strong>hospital safe<\/strong> upon your arrival. If you decide to keep them, you do so at your own risk.  <\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"section-block\">\n<h3>Rooms<\/h3>\n\n<p>The department has double and single rooms. If you wish to have a <strong>single room<\/strong> (\u20ac45 per night), this request must be specified when your hospitalization file is created, subject to availability and medical necessity. This service may be reimbursed by your mutual insurance company \u2014 please inquire with them.  <\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"section-block\">\n<h3>Your Doctors<\/h3>\n\n<p>Throughout your stay, <strong>the resident doctor for your sector<\/strong> will be your daily contact. Your surgeon will ensure the smooth progress of your recovery and will visit your room regularly. <\/p>\n\n<p>Each day, the entire medical team meets to discuss the progress of all patients. Following this meeting, decisions may be made concerning you (additional examinations, external opinions, discharge proposal, intervention date, etc.). You will, of course, be informed.  <\/p>\n\n<h4>Medical Rounds<\/h4>\n<ul class=\"traitements-list\">\n  <li><strong>Every morning<\/strong> by residents and chief residents \u2014 7:15 AM to 8:00 AM<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Daily follow-up rounds<\/strong> in the late afternoon by residents, chief residents, and the on-call neurosurgeon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h4>During Your Stay<\/h4>\n<p>You will be seen again by the anesthesiologist the day before the intervention, as well as by the doctors who will be taking care of you. Report any changes since your consultation. If necessary, additional examinations may be performed (blood tests, ECG, X-ray, etc.).<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"section-block\">\n<h3>Your Life in the Hospital<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"traitements-list\">\n  <li><strong>Visits allowed daily from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM<\/strong> \u2014 on the 2nd and 4th floors<\/li>\n  <li><strong>Visits allowed from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM<\/strong> \u2014 on the 1st floor (Neurosurgery Intensive Care Unit)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Mobile phone use is tolerated \u2014 however, please ensure that its use does not cause disturbance, particularly in sensitive areas and at night. The hospital is a public <strong>smoke-free<\/strong> area. <\/p>\n\n<p>We ask you to respect the hospital regulations, available in the establishment&#8217;s welcome booklet.<\/p>\n\n<p style=\"font-size:0.9em; color:#666; font-style:italic;\">For your information: the department daily admits emergency cases, which may alter the organization of your hospitalization.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<div class=\"adenome-footer\"><strong>Practical Information:<\/strong> This information is provided for guidance only and may change.
