Its <span class=\"mc\">expertise is internationally recognized<\/span>, as evidenced by recent publications <sup><a href=\"#ref-1\">1<\/a>\u2013<a href=\"#ref-6\">6<\/a><\/sup>. <\/p>\n\n<p>Our team participated in the drafting of the <strong>National Consensus for the Management of Craniopharyngiomas<\/strong>, with the chapter dedicated to surgical treatment <sup><a href=\"#ref-2\">2<\/a><\/sup>.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"section-block\">\n<h3>Therapeutic Strategy<\/h3>\n\n<p>In 2025, we published an article in the <em>Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism<\/em> reporting our strategy for the management of adult craniopharyngiomas <sup><a href=\"#ref-7\">7<\/a><\/sup>, based on the tumor's relationship with the hypothalamus.<\/p>\n\n<p>For certain types of craniopharyngiomas (<strong>papillary subtype<\/strong>), medical treatment with targeted therapy may be offered, followed by radiotherapy. The initial results published as part of a national collaborative effort in which we participated are promising <sup><a href=\"#ref-8\">8<\/a><\/sup>. <\/p>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"section-block\">\n<h3>Pediatric Collaboration<\/h3>\n\n<p>The adult neurosurgery department at Lariboisi\u00e8re collaborates closely with the <strong>pediatric neurosurgery department at Necker<\/strong> (Prof. Blauwblomme, Prof. Beccaria) for the surgical management of pediatric craniopharyngiomas and to ensure a smooth transition from childhood to adulthood.
